Getting there
Haus der Universität is located in downtown Düsseldorf and can be most conveniently reached by public transportation. The closest stations are Schadowstraße (Subway U71, U72, U73, and U83; Tram 701, 705, and 706) and Heinrich-Heine-Allee (Subway U70, U75, U76, U77, U78, and U79; Bus SB50, 780, 782, 785, 805, and 817). If you arrive at Düsseldorf International Airport, you can take S-Bahn S1 or S-Bahn S11 or various regional trains to Düsseldorf central station. If you arrive at Düsseldorf central station, use any of the following subway lines to Heinrich-Heine-Allee: U70, U74, U75, U76, U77, U78, U79.
Due to its location in downtown Düsseldorf, there are no free parking spaces. However, several paid parking facilities are close by.

Accessibility
All rooms used during TARK'25 are fully wheelchair accessible. Haus der Universität has an elevator and a wheelchair lift in the entrance area, max. 200 kg.
Conference Dinner
The conference dinner will be at "Zum Schlüssel" starting at 7 PM on Tuesday, July 15, 2025. The downside of not having to pay a registration fee is that everyone will have to pay at the restaurant for themselves.

Below we list some hotels that all are in walking distance of the conference venue or quickly reachable by public transportation (with the exception of Schloss Mickeln). The hotels are ordered by decreasing price from top to bottom, all approximately in the price range between 110 Euro and 80 Euro per night and room. None of them offers a conference discount. Of course, these are just recommendations; you can also choose among many other hotels in Düsseldorf, some may be cheaper, most will be more expensive.

Schloss Mickeln is beautifully situated on the outskirts of Düsseldorf. It is not possible to reach the conference venue on foot; however, public transportation is possible (approx. 40 min.).
