Düsseldorf has an international airport with direct connections to various cities. The university can be reached from the airport by taking the train (S-Bahn or regional train) to the main station (Hauptbahnhof) and then the tram number 707 or the subway (U-Bahn) number U79, direction "Universität Ost/Botanischer Garten, Düsseldorf".

Alternatively, the Köln-Bonn airport is served by many budget airlines and can easily be reached by train.

Accommodation

Due to many fairs in Düsseldorf in September we recommend to book the hotel room early. Some hotels, which are close to the workshop venue, offer special rates for COMSOC-2010 participants (mention the keyword COMSOC when booking your room):
